Description
A flavorful cut made for gathering around the table. Our whole tri-tip is approximately 2.5–3 lbs, perfect for the grill, smoker, or oven. Cooking Notes Keep it simple with salt, pepper, and garlic. Sear over direct heat, then move to indirect heat to finish cooking. Let it rest for about 10 minutes before carving. The grain changes direction, so divide the roast where the fibers turn and slice each section thinly against the grain. Use a meat thermometer: USDA recommends 145°F for beef roasts, followed by at least 3 minutes of rest. Package size: Approximately 2.5–3 lbs each.
