You may notice organic sugar listed on our ingredient panel — and wonder how that fits with our zero sugar nutrition claim.

Here’s how it works:
We use a small amount of organic sugar as a starter for natural fermentation, a time-tested preservation method that replaces the need for artificial additives or encapsulated acids. During fermentation, beneficial bacteria fully consume the sugar, leaving no trace in the final product.

✅ That’s why our meat sticks still contain 0g of sugar per serving, while maintaining shelf-stability and deep, crave-worthy flavor — all without shortcuts or synthetic preservatives.

Our meat sticks are made from Regenerative Organic Certified® beef and pork, raised with the highest standards for soil health, animal welfare, and farmer welfare. We believe that organic and regenerative go hand in hand — and every ingredient we use is fully traceable, clean, and sourced with intention.

No nitrates, no nitrites, no preservatives, and no artificial anything. We use a natural fermentation process to keep our meat sticks shelf-stable — without using citric acid encapsulated in hydrogenated oils, which is common in many other brands.

It means we use time and natural fermentation — not chemicals — to preserve our product. This old-world technique supports shelf stability, enhances flavor, and offers gut-friendly benefits. No shortcuts. No synthetic acids. Just real food.

We’re launching in three phases to get them to you as quickly as possible:

  • Phase 1: Direct-to-consumer launch — same great meat sticks in our pre-launch packaging with a clean, branded label.
  • Phase 2: Retail-ready 3 oz resealable bags (similar to our jerky packs) for broader distribution.
  • Phase 3: Individually wrapped 1.15 oz sticks (think Chomps, but way cleaner) once our rollstock equipment is in.
